Would You Live Here? Wait Until You See The Upgrade it Gets

By Richard K. Noots

Christian Schallert surprised his mom one day by getting his own place. Unfortunately, after a hundred stair climb to see it, she was greeted with something … Less than pleasing. She worried for her son, but he pleaded that it would be okay. Despite no ceiling, bad pipes and the simple fact that it’s only 258 square feet, he assured her it would be fine. Well, watch the video and you tell me. I think he’s living better than most people I know, wouldn’t you agree?

I would happily live somewhere like that. He’s got everything around that matters to him – nice kitchen, bed – and isn’t stuck looking at those things 24/7 when they ain’t needed.

I am amazed at everything he’s got in that compact space, I think I would go stir crazy myself. This apartment is extremely efficient and attractive as well. The ultimate bachelor pad!

  3. TinTin says:

It’s great for singles but I wouldn’t want to shower in a glass cube. That would be pretty awkward if you had a friend staying. The patio is nice though, good for parties.

What would make you crazy, the lack of an extra room or two? I can see that would be an issue if you are home a lot, but this is perfect for a busy single person. You’d have to be organised though, and very tidy.

Everything tucked away in a 258 square foot apartment, now that is amazing. I like the fact that everything is tucked away behind a wall. It gives me ideas for my next house, when it’s just the two of us.

It is something else that he can fit everything into that tiny space. I like the idea of tucking stuff into walls and pulling them out when needed. As long as you’re not claustrophobic it would be an alright place to live.

This guy is living the life. He has everything that he needs and it fits so well in his space. Sometimes I think it would be nice to live in a small area because then you don’t have to worry about buying too many things and cluttering your space.

  8. Colbert says:

This is really cool but there is no way that I would be able to live in such a small space like this. I have seen whole families that live in these tiny areas and I think to myself, why would you want to do that? I need my space to roam around.

  9. KJones says:

Not a lot of room but if you like tight spaces this would be cheap and perfect. Maybe we need to learn to live with less like this guy and we’d save a lot more money! I like the hiding places in the wall, what a fantastic idea.
