This Visual Artist Brings the Heavens Down to the Streets

By Anne Cacherell

Aside from dealing with life’s happy and crappy times, our emotions are also affected by how we interpret and react to our surroundings. With this idea, French-born and now Brooklyn-based artist Benjamin Lozninger aims to bring out smiles through his C/Loud Project. By covering the walls of the city buildings and billboards with cheerful cloud prints, this visual artist offers a little moment of escape to all passersby from life’s daily worries and troubles.

The artist believes that the simplicity of the concept makes the message of the project stronger and more effective.
