These Water Color Paintings Are More Than Refrigerator Material

By Jack Day

I have mentioned before about how ignorant I can be when it comes to art.  The internet in it’s ultimate glory has helped me to change that little by little.  So I present my findings here in the form of these amazing water color paintings by Alexander Dzivnel.

I remember playing with water color paints when I was a kid, but I never imagined the potential behind honing them into an artistic skill.

Hence my long time ignorance.

Where I left off with those water paints, Dzivnel clearly carried onward and upward after his first exposure.  On his Behance.com profile Dzivnel talks of the artwork he creates as being a hobby.  His main occupation is as an interior designer at Nordes Design Group.

Dzivnel says, “I do it just because art & especially watercolor is my passion. I think that watercolor is the most living art form.”

Yea, the baby is my favorite.  The detail on the face is so perfect with the shading and the flush marks, uncanny man!  How about you?  What do you think of the watercolors as a whole?  Good stuff?  Got a favorite one?  Please share your thoughts!
