These Daredevils Want to Show You the Grand Canyon Like You Have Never Seen It Before

By Jack Day

I have mentioned it in the past that I love the Grand Canyon.  I’ve been there only a handful of times, but it has profoundly affected me throughout my life.  Now comes along a group of crazy daredevils known as the Moab Monkeys who also share my love for the giant hole.  That just sounded wrong.  What I mean is they have constructed what appears to be a giant human web made up of fibrous bungee cords they call the Pentagon Space Net.  Then they stretched it across a 400 foot chasm in a part of the canyon so they could jump through a hole cut out in the middle. Awesome.

If you are brave enough to seek the thrill out then you must first walk across a 200 foot tight rope to get to the web. Then strap on a parachute and enjoy your drop 400 feet to the canyon floor. It just goes to show that if you can dream it, you can build it. Then you can jump off of it. Way to go you crazy spider monkeys!
