We all want to live an extraordinary life, but in reality, most of us are clueless on what that entails. We have dreams, but we don’t understand what it takes to make it come true.

My wife and I have always dreamed of going to St. Lucia, a lush tropical gem in the calm eastern Caribbean Sea. We weren’t able to go there for our honeymoon due to a limited budget.

I didn’t want it to be just another regular trip. I wanted it to be extraordinary, so I told my wife to put our dreams on hold for a while and save up to make sure that our vacation would be a once in a lifetime experience.

So, I worked really hard to build up our St. Lucia budget, but things just kept on happening that resulted in extra expenses.

Doing your best even with limited means is the most genuine thing you could ever do to live life to the fullest every single day.

One weekend, my wife and I came across a former colleague named Fred while we were grocery shopping. He told me that he’s still with the same company, but on weekends, he does some volunteer work at an elderly home in the area.

I was impressed and at the same time, it made me reflect on every aspect of my life. After some introspection, I decided to take action and booked our trip to St. Lucia.

To my surprise, it was not as expensive as we thought it would be.

When we got there, everything was magnificent, from the well-preserved rainforests, to the fascinating white sand beaches, and of course the wonderful people of the island.

Conquer your limitations and take responsibility of your own happiness.

It was a fantastic vacation and if it wasn’t for Fred, we would have put off our trip forever.

It made me realize that I have to do my best to be happy every day, even in small ways. I had to stop making excuses and start believing that I could always do so much more.

Guys, we can’t tap into awesomeness just by focusing on what we want to do and what we want to achieve.

We should learn to build our life first. To do that, we have to examine all areas of our lives, starting with our own selves, our health, our relationships and our purpose in this world.

Good connections are essential to our happiness and are beneficial to our overall well-being.

Disagreements cause stress and stress is bad for our health. Conflicts results when we fail to understand each other or when we fail to see the situation from our partner’s perspective. In effect, they think that we don’t value their opinion, feelings or their interest.

To avoid these types of problems, you should learn to be verbally attractive. You have to fight dullness, be more engaging and get your mind out of the gutter by avoiding the use of flat and boring lines.
