2016 has finally arrived gentlemen and with it comes a whole year to plan out how this is going to be your best one ever. You could get a new job, start a blog, go on a diet, meet a girl, adopt a new style, the possibilities are endless!
Whatever your plans are for the new year, you’re going to need some help along the way. For instance:
- Learn why starting a side job could be your path to career happiness
- And then read about why it might not be such a bad idea to leave your old one
- It all depends on how much you embrace 2016 as the Year of Consciousness
- And understand the true Laws of Change that can help guide you along the way
- A major rebuilding also calls for new eating habits that can boost your productivity
- As well as a set of life lessons in the love department you might have never considered
Look guys, I know how hard it can be to break old habits, create new ones, and stay motivated long enough to reap the fruits of your labor. The truth is though, if you don’t strap on that super hero cape every day and show the world you mean business, no one else will.
Just look at Bat Man. Sure he was a rich kid and could buy all those cool gadgets to fight crime, but he didn’t have to. Yes, his motivation came from a dark place, but the key is that he had it. Which is why you need to discover the reasons behind what drives you! Then start to put yourself in the kinds of positions that will move your life in the direction you choose.
One key thing to remember when exploring new interests is that making money should not matter. This is about you and your soul, we’ll talk to your wallet in a second.
It’s all about participating in life and not acquiring stuff, but experiences
That is part of the reason you should think about changing where you work or what you do entirely. Maybe you have a skill or lifelong hobby you never considered could be a career. Or perhaps you just need a change of scenery from your old job and maybe it’s time you started your own business.
If you feel that you have contributed everything you could at your current job, then it is definitely time to move on. But make it a meaningful move. Find a place that you can make a difference at and that you actually want to be part of for a few years.
Sure, if you moved around from team to team in sports, it might send the wrong message. In business, the difference is you’re also the team, the owner, and the fans.
So don’t get distracted when opportunity arrives
To help with that and to further illustrate the concept of change on a grander scale you should look at some of the ways our world is racing towards an explosion of new consciousness. While it may only be a glimpse of what 2016 holds, you can develop your own sense of awareness about what is driving the massive changes around you. These changes will be the inspiration for your own.
You’re like Neo at the end of The Matrix
And what happened in that scene fellas? That’s right, Neo stops bullets and fights a computer program with one arm. But, he also sees the laws and rules of the world around him and can manipulate them. That’s what being truly conscious feels like fellas.
It also helps to know a little bit about conscious change and how one person could ever possibly make such a big difference, even if you are Neo. It takes looking in the unlikeliest of places sometimes to achieve that inspiration, like where author Stephan A. Schwartz came up with his 8 Laws of Change. I am sure a couple of them at least will wind up being staples in your own diet of change.
And speaking of diet, it will only serve you better now and later in life to finally start making and keeping better habits when it comes to your health. By doing things like understanding where energy comes from and how to harness the power of certain foods, the effects will pay off in many other areas of your life.
Just remember: Being healthier means being better at everything
Like being a gentlemen. And it’s not just about impressing the ladies with the new you, but everyone you come into contact with as well. A simple act or gesture of kindness, offering your listening services, or even telling someone close that you love them, can help you make 2016 the best year of your life.
