At 36, my friend Robbie is still single. He’s financially stable, sleeps with a lot of different women and never misses out on any holiday party. For many people, he is the man! He lives on his own terms, free from any commitments or responsibilities. He is living the life.

But, is he? What do you think is the real measure of happiness and success? If your answer is money and the number of women you sleep with, you might want to rethink that. For me, happiness and success can’t just be measured by your career and possessions alone. It also has to be measured by the quality of your life in general.

You might want to include these 4 important aspects in creating a good definition for “the best life.”

Value Your Relationship

Maintaining good and healthy relationships strengthen all aspects of your life: your career, your mind and your overall well-being. To achieve this, it is important to make your partner feel valued and secured.

In the piece “How to be Successful without Losing Your Relationship,” writer Heather Gray advises couples to always provide room for two dreams. She also said:

“Relationships are doomed when one dream takes over the entire relationship. Two people exist in that space. Two dreams matter.”

The problem with some men is that they want to dominate their relationships. They see everything as competition. So, whenever their partners achieve something, rather than celebrating, they feel insecure and a little insulted.

Guys, be supportive of your partner’s goals and happiness, validate her efforts to please you and contribute to the growth of your relationship, and give her the guarantee that she is indeed part of your life and your future.

Also, as the saying goes, “A happy wife is a happy life.” Therefore, when your woman is miserable, you’ll be miserable too. So, you better take good care of her if you know what’s good for you.

Protect Yourself from Negative Energy

Let go of bad habits that suck up your time, money and energy. These things just leave you feeling drained, restless and dissatisfied all the time. None of which you have the time or energy to deal with at any point.

However, changing you lifestyle is not that easy, especially if you’re so much used to it that it’s already became your comfort zone. In order to make a successful transformation, you must have a firm decision that you really want to live the best life.

According to Lara Starr of Spirit Science, one way to repel negative energy in your life is to never sleep with someone you wouldn’t want to be.

Whenever you interact intimately with someone, you are allowing the other person to leave their spiritual debris in you. So, if you’re the type of man who sleeps with multiple people, chances are, you have a very confused aura that makes you physically and emotionally impure.

So, dude, next time you jump into bed with someone, make sure that they have a clean energy, or else, it’s the same thing as getting intimate with whomever they have been intimate with.

Or better yet, just protect your aura by being a one-woman man. Also, it is best to perform regular aura cleansing to improve your well-being and shield yourself from disease, bacteria and negative energies.

Clean Up Your Diet

We live in a toxic world, where environmental pollution is rampant, where most people don’t have time to prepare healthy food so they go for highly-processed food and where sugary foods and drinks provide immediate comfort.

Cleansing your body and soul seems insane and impossible until you get hit hard with an illness or a serious disease that threatens your life.

Start bringing your health into the forefront by observing these commons signs that you shouldn’t ignore:

• Color of your pee – the clearer the better
• How often you poop – you don’t want your toxins to enter your bloodstream, right?
• Chapped lips – indicator of dehydration
• Skin breakouts – signals immune system problem
• How susceptible you are to seasonal illnesses

Treat Other People with Respect

I believe that this is the golden rule of living in harmony with other beings. When you treat others as you want them to treat you, you can avoid conflicts, confusions and misunderstandings.

We can definitely make this world a better place if we incorporate this principle into our lives. In business, for example, the best way to keep a customer satisfied is to think like them by putting yourself in their shoes. You should exert an effort to know what they want because if you fail to deliver, they will surely take their business to someone that can.

Jason Forrest shares the only two things you need so that your customers won’t leave.

Give your clients comfort and security by being the devil in the details. Create a product that would make their lives better and make them feel important by looking for opportunities to provide a standout experience in everything.

Clean and peaceful living is only possible when you are capable of making a firm decision that you only want to live the best quality of life.
