His Photography Captures the Peculiarity & Humor In This Small Town In Romania

By Anne Cacherell

Capturing humor in a picture can be very tricky. The photographer should be able to deal with split-second timings, the right environment, and must have a very quick shutter finger or else, the perfect shot can be gone in an instant.

Romanian photographer Hajdu Tamas is a veterinarian, who specializes in laboratory diagnostics. Influenced by his father who was an amateur photographer, painter and sculptor, he felt the urge to transform his creative juices to into his work. Though he never really had a formal education in photography, it was Tamas’ passion and love for the craft that made him take it seriously.

One of Tamas’ strength in this form of art is that he is not afraid to take a picture of the craziness of life. The shots he took at this small town in Romania depict greyish melancholy, quirkiness and humor.

His works have been displayed in various exhibits, won several awards and featured in different photography magazines.

Take a look at the common landscapes and peculiar occurrences in his fatherland’s small village.
