For This French Artist Turning the Sidewalks Into an Open Museum Was Easier Than You Would Think

By Anne Cacherell

French artist Etienne Lavie created these following images to show how several European cities would look like if their street advertisements would be replaced by classical paintings. The series is called “OMG Who Stole My Ads?” Lavie played with these images by using Milan and Paris as her backdrop and then adding the artwork digitally.

In reality, these dreamlike images don’t exist but there’s nothing wrong with some wishful thinking.
