Even Prisoners Deserve a Second Chance, and You Won’t Believe This One

By Richard K. Noots

Dion was once a simple drug dealer trying to make ends meet. He wasn’t a bad person, he just wanted to pay bills and feed his family. It turns out, the majority of people in prison aren’t bad people. just people who got caught up in something they didn’t understand. Once Dion got out though, he was ready to make a change. Unfortunately, no one would hire him. The stigma for being a former crime-doer is a harsh one, and it can make falling back into that lifestyle easier than you’d think. Luckily, Greystone Bakery has a hiring policy that lets everyone work for them, as long as they apply. Now, Dion is really helping his family. Talk about a turnaround!
