6 Photos of Movie Scenes Inspired by the Real Thing

By Richard K. Noots

So, this professor of history has a simple hobby. He travels around in his spare time looking for areas in real life that remind him of scenes in movies. Then, in an Inception-esque move, he takes a picture of his picture, thus completing his art. He has plenty more than just the images you’re seeing here, check out his website as well! Be Warned, it’s in French so it may be a wee-bit hard to navigate through. Good luck!

That’s pretty cool! I like the first picture the best, with all that turbulence in the sky. It always amazes me the different art that people can come up with.

Yeah, these are neat. I have an appreciation for creative people and I always think to myself, “Why didn`t I think of that?“ Haha. I have also seen something similar to this, but the artist pencil-drew a completion to the scene and held it up for a photo. Also very cool.

I wanted to like them, but the results don’t match what I expected. I think they’d be much cooler if the places he found were actually like the movie image – say the train track was buckled.
